Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Boil sweet potatoes until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
- Drain and mash sweet potatoes with sugar, butter, milk, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until smooth.
- Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes until set and golden.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For a richer flavor, add a sprinkle of chopped pecans on top before baking.
