Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook pasta until al dente, then drain.
- Cook sausage until browned, then stir in marinara and Italian seasoning.
- Mix cooked pasta, sausage sauce, and ricotta in a bowl. Transfer to a greased baking dish.
- Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove foil, bake 10 more minutes until bubbly and golden. Garnish with basil if desired.
Notes
For a vegetarian version, substitute sausage with sautéed vegetables.
