Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (176°C) and line a cupcake pan with liners.
- Mix dry ingredients in a bowl. Beat butter, sugar, oil, and vanilla until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time. Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk, mixing until smooth.
- Fill liners 3/4 full and bake for 15-18 minutes. Cool completely.
- For frosting: Beat butter until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar, vanilla, salt, and milk until desired consistency is reached. Pipe onto cooled cupcakes.
Notes
Ensure not to overmix the batter to keep cupcakes light and fluffy.
