Ingredients
  

Bananas
  • 3 pieces ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar can reduce to 1/2 cup for less sweetness
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • pinch salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mash bananas in a bowl, then stir in melted butter.
  3. Add sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla; mix well.
  4. Stir in baking soda and salt, then fold in flour until just combined.
  5. Pour batter into a greased loaf pan and bake for 60-65 minutes. Cool before slicing.

Notes

Use very ripe bananas for extra sweetness and flavor.
