Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet.
- Mix dry ingredients; cream butter and sugar, then add egg and vanilla.
- Combine dry and wet mixtures, fold in chocolate chips.
- Scoop dough onto baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Cool cookies on wire rack before serving.
Notes
For softer cookies, slightly underbake and let cool on the baking sheet.
