  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
Dry ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  2. Mix pumpkin, sugar, and oil. Add eggs, then combine with dry ingredients.
  3. Pour batter into pan and bake for 60-70 minutes. Cool before slicing.
