  • 1 pound breakfast beef sausage cooked and crumbled
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 6 slices bread cubed

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  3. Stir in cooked beef sausage, cheese, onion, and cubed bread.
  4. Pour mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and set.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use whole milk or add a splash of heavy cream.
