  • 2 cups mashed sweet potatoes
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix sweet potatoes, sugar, milk, butter, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until smooth.
  3. Pour into a greased baking dish.
  4. Combine pecans, flour, sugar, and butter for crumble.
  5. Sprinkle crumble over sweet potato mixture and bake 30-35 mins.
  6. Let cool slightly before serving.
