Ingredients
  

Crust
  • 1 piece 9-inch unbaked pie crust
Filling
  • 1 can 15 oz pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Mix pumpkin, condensed milk, eggs, spices, salt, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Pour filling into crust and bake for 15 minutes.
  4. Reduce oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 35-40 minutes until set.
  5. Cool for 2 hours before serving.

Notes

Use a chilled pie crust for best results.
