Ingredients
  

Bruschetta Ingredients
  • 1 French baguette sliced into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes diced
  • 1/2 red onion finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil chopped
  • 4 slices cooked turkey bacon crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • for drizzling (optional) Balsamic glaze

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet, brush with olive oil, and toast for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Combine diced tomatoes, red onion, basil, crumbled bacon, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Spoon the tomato mixture onto each toasted baguette slice.
  5. Drizzle with balsamic glaze (optional) and serve immediately.

Notes

For a vegetarian option, omit the bacon and add a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese.
