Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Cook pasta, then set aside.
- Melt butter, whisk in flour and seasonings to make a roux.
- Gradually add milk, cook until thickened, then stir in cream cheese and cheeses until melted.
- Combine cheese sauce with cooked pasta, transfer to baking dish, top with breadcrumbs if desired.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden. Serve hot.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a pinch of cayenne or paprika on top before baking.
