Ingredients
  

Dry ingredients
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour, sifted
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • Pinch salt
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
Wet ingredients
  • 1.25 cups whole milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted and cooled

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, sift flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  2. Create a well and add milk, vanilla, egg, and melted butter. Mix gently.
  3. Let batter rest for 5 minutes.
  4. Heat a greased skillet over medium heat. Pour 1/4 cup batter for each pancake.
  5. Cook until bubbles form, flip, and cook until golden.
  6. Serve warm with toppings of choice.

Notes

For extra fluffiness, do not overmix the batter.
