Method
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess grease.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until garlic is fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and stir to combine. Bring to a simmer.
- Add Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir until cheese is melted.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the sauce. Toss to coat, adding pasta water if needed.
- Stir in fresh parsley. Serve immediately.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Adjust the amount of red pepper flakes to your spice preference.
