Garlic Butter Steak Bites and Potatoes (Tender & Crispy!)

A delicious one-pan dish featuring tender steak bites and crispy potatoes, all coated in flavorful garlic butter.

Ingredients
  

Meat and Potatoes
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 lb baby potatoes, halved or quartered
Dairy and Oils
  • 3 tbsp butter, divided
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
Herbs and Seasonings
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • to taste Salt and pepper
Garnish
  • for garnish Fresh parsley, chopped

Method
 

  1. Cook potatoes: In a skillet, add 1 tbsp butter and olive oil. Add potatoes, season, and cook 10–12 mins until golden. Remove and set aside.
  2. Sear steak: In the same skillet, add 1 tbsp butter. Sear steak bites 2–3 mins per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. Make garlic butter: Reduce heat, add remaining butter and garlic. Sauté 1 min until fragrant.
  4. Combine and serve: Return steak and potatoes to skillet, toss in garlic butter. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Ensure not to overcrowd the skillet when searing the steak for best browning.
