Good Old-Fashioned Pancakes

Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
Wet Ingredients
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • 1 egg

Method
 

  1. Sift the dry ingredients together.
  2. Add the wet ingredients.
  3. Cook up some pancakes on the griddle.
  4. Cook for about two to three minutes per side, but once your pancakes are bubbling and the edges look set, you’ll know it’s time to turn.
  5. Serve your stack with maple syrup, butter, or your other go-to pancake toppings.

Notes

For extra fluffy pancakes, let the batter rest for 5-10 minutes before cooking.
