Method
- Brown ground beef in a skillet, drain grease.
- Add ginger and garlic, cook until fragrant (30 seconds).
- Whisk soy sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water in a bowl.
- Pour sauce over beef, stir to combine.
- Add broccoli, stir to coat with sauce.
- Cover and cook until broccoli is tender-crisp (5-7 minutes).
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve over rice, if desired.
Notes
For a spicier dish, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
