Ingredients
  

Meat and Dairy
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
Vegetables and Seasonings
  • 1 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste Salt and pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook onion in olive oil until translucent, then add ground beef and cook until browned. Season with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix cream of mushroom soup and milk in a bowl. Layer potatoes, beef mixture, and cheese in a greased dish, then pour soup mixture over.
  4. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes, then uncover and bake 15 more minutes until tender and bubbly.

Notes

For a healthier option, use lean ground beef and low-fat cheese.
