Ingredients
  

Meat
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion onion, chopped
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste Salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook onion in olive oil until translucent, then add ground beef and cook until browned. Season with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix cream of mushroom soup and milk in a bowl. Layer potatoes, beef mixture, and cheese in a greased baking dish, then pour soup mixture over.
  4. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake 15 more minutes until potatoes are tender and cheese is bubbly.

Notes

For a creamier texture, let the casserole rest for a few minutes before serving.
