  • 1 pound ground beef

  • 8 ounces mushrooms sliced

  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 12 ounces egg noodles

Method
 

  1. Cook egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Brown ground beef in olive oil, breaking it apart. Cook until browned, then drain excess fat.
  3. Add chopped onions and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until onions are translucent.
  4. Add sliced mushrooms and cook until soft and tender.
  5. Sprinkle flour over the mixture, then gradually add beef broth, stirring continuously. Cook until sauce thickens. Stir in sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Fold cooked noodles into the sauce until fully coated. Serve hot after letting it sit for a couple of minutes.

Notes

Let the dish sit for a few minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld. Garnish with fresh parsley for a fresh touch.
