Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 cups egg noodles
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Method
 

  1. Cook egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté onions and garlic in olive oil until onions are translucent.
  3. Brown ground beef, breaking it up with a spoon. Drain excess fat.
  4. Add mushrooms and cook until they begin to soften.
  5. Stir in flour, then gradually add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, stirring until thickened.
  6. Stir in sour cream, season with salt and pepper, then combine with cooked noodles. Garnish with parsley.

Notes

For a fresher touch, garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
