  • 2 pieces mini chocolate chips for eyes and banana ghosts

  • 1 piece apple for Monster Mouth
  • creamy peanut butter creamy peanut butter for spreading and attaching parts
  • 10 seeds sunflower seeds for teeth
  • salted water salted water to prevent apples from browning
  • 1 piece sliced strawberry optional, for tongue
  • 2 pieces candy eyeballs optional, for eyes
  • 1 piece powdered donut for Monter Donuts
  • 1 green or red seedless grapes for cauldrons

Method
 

  1. Slice and peel the kiwi to resemble Frankenstein's hair, insert pretzel stick for neck, add chocolate chips for eyes, and draw mouth with gel.
  2. Core and slice apple, soak in salted water, spread peanut butter, press slices together, add strawberry tongue if desired, and embed sunflower seeds as teeth. Attach candy eyeballs with peanut butter.
  3. Spread peanut butter on candy eyeballs and attach onto powdered donuts to make Monster Donuts.
  4. Fill plastic cauldrons with grapes for a spooky treat.
  5. Prepare waffle batter or use packaged mix, cook in Halloween-themed waffle makers, and serve warm with syrup and berries.
  6. Peel bananas, cut in half, press mini chocolate chips for eyes to create Ghosts. For mini pumpkins, peel clementines and add celery stalks as stems.
