Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 0.333 cup granulated sugar (67 g)
  • 0.5 cup light brown sugar (packed) (100 g)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour (spooned and leveled) (186 g)
  • 1.5 cups chocolate chips
  • 0.5-0.75 cup halloween sprinkles
  • as needed candy eyes (optional)

Method
 

  1. Mix melted butter, sugars, vanilla, and egg until smooth.
  2. Add flour, salt, and baking soda; mix on low, then high until just combined.
  3. Gently fold in sprinkles and chocolate chips.
  4. Form 2-tablespoon dough balls, chill in fridge for 1.5-2 hours.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F, place dough on baking sheet 2 inches apart, bake 11-13 minutes.
  6. Immediately add candy eyes if using, cool, then enjoy!
