Halloween Crack

A festive and easy-to-make treat perfect for Halloween parties, combining crunchy saltines with a rich chocolate topping and colorful candies.

Ingredients
  

Crackers
  • 35 pieces saltine crackers around one sleeve
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 10 oz semi sweet chocolate chips
  • eye candies for topping
  • candy corn for topping
  • reese’s pieces for topping
  • halloween sprinkles for topping

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange saltines in rows.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar, bring to a boil for 2-3 minutes, then pour over saltines and spread evenly.
  3. Bake for 4-5 minutes until bubbly, then sprinkle with chocolate chips and let sit for 5 minutes to melt.
  4. Spread melted chocolate evenly over the surface, then decorate with eye candies, sprinkles, Reese’s pieces, and candy corn.
  5. Refrigerate until chocolate is hardened (1-2 hours), then break into pieces and serve.

Notes

Store leftovers in a Ziploc bag in the freezer for freshness.
