Ingredients
  

Dairy and Oils
  • 0.67 cup butter
  • 0.25 cup vegetable oil
Sugars
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.33 cup brown sugar
Dry ingredients
  • 0.67 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 egg eggs (cold)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 cup all purpose flour
  • 15 Oreos Oreos (extra 5 for topping)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8 inch pan with parchment.
  2. Melt butter, oil, and sugars in 30-second intervals, then stir vigorously after microwaving for 1 minute.
  3. Whisk in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla. Mix until batter pulls from the bowl.
  4. Fold in flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined. Pour half into pan, add Oreos, then top with remaining batter.
  5. Top with crushed Oreos and bake for 30 minutes. Cool before slicing.

Notes

For best results, fully cool brownies before slicing to achieve clean squares.
