Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Whisk together cream of chicken soup and milk to prepare the sauce.
- Mix chicken, vegetables, rice, onion, garlic, seasonings, cheese, and sauce in a large bowl.
- Divide mixture into two greased 9×13 dishes. Top with breadcrumb mixture.
- Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes until bubbly and golden. For freezing, cool, cover, and freeze up to 3 months.
- Reheat by thawing overnight in the fridge, then bake at 375°F (190°C) for 40–45 minutes until hot.
Notes
For best results, prepare the sauce fresh and adjust seasonings to taste.
