Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Brown ground beef in a skillet, breaking it apart, until no longer pink (5-7 minutes). Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent (2-3 minutes).
- Drain excess grease. Stir in cream of mushroom soup and Worcestershire sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Spread beef mixture evenly across the bottom.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over beef layer. Arrange frozen tater tots evenly on top.
- Bake in preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For a lower sodium option, use low-sodium cream of mushroom soup.
