Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook ground beef in olive oil until browned; drain fat. Sauté onion and garlic until soft.
- Layer beef, potatoes, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and paprika in the baking dish.
- Top with cheddar and Parmesan cheese. Pour beef broth around the edges.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes; remove foil and bake 15–20 minutes until potatoes are tender.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use a combination of beef broth and milk. Let the casserole rest for 10 minutes before serving.
