Method
- Pat chicken dry and season with salt and pepper.
- Sear chicken in olive oil for 5-6 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- Lower heat, melt butter, and sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
- Add honey, soy sauce, vinegar, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Return chicken to pan and cook for 5-7 minutes, spooning sauce over. Ensure internal temp reaches 165°F.
- Mix cornstarch with water and add to skillet if a thicker sauce is desired. Stir until thickened.
- Let chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing. Garnish and serve.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes before cooking.
