Method
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cut the beef tenderloin into bite-sized cubes.
- Add the cubed beef to the hot skillet in a single layer.
- Cook beef for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned.
- Remove beef from skillet and set aside.
- Add sesame oil to the skillet.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
- Stir until the mixture simmers and honey dissolves, about 2 minutes.
- Return the cooked beef to the skillet, coating with sauce.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer for 3-4 minutes to thicken sauce.
- Prepare cooked white rice and place in bowls.
- Spoon beef over rice in each bowl.
- Sprinkle green onions and sesame seeds over each bowl.
- Serve immediately and enjoy.
Notes
For a spicier dish, add more red pepper flakes to the sauce.
