Ingredients
  

Pasta
  • 12 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • optional Fresh basil for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook pasta until al dente, then drain.
  2. Mix cooked pasta, marinara, ricotta, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Transfer to a greased baking dish, top with mozzarella and Parmesan.
  4. Bake covered for 20 minutes, then uncover and bake 10-15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  5. Let cool slightly, garnish with basil if desired, and serve.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a sprinkle of red pepper flakes or a drizzle of olive oil before serving.
