Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional)

Method
 

  1. Season chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Select 'Sauté' on Instant Pot, add olive oil if using, and sear chicken 2-3 minutes per side.
  3. Add chicken broth, then close lid and set valve to 'Sealing'.
  4. Cook on 'Manual' or 'Pressure Cook' for 10 minutes, then natural release for 5 minutes.
  5. Shred chicken with forks, mix with broth, and serve.
