Method
- Place sweet potatoes on the trivet in the Instant Pot with 1 cup water.
- Seal lid and pressure cook on high for 15 minutes, then natural release for 10 minutes.
- For slow cooker, cook sweet potatoes with 1 cup water on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Remove sweet potatoes, cut in half, and toss with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Serve with optional toppings like butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, or marshmallows.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a sprinkle of cinnamon or a pat of butter before serving.
