  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Method
 

  1. Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. Mix broth, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and lemon juice; pour over chicken.
  3. Cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours until tender.
  4. Shred the cooked chicken and mix with juices.
  5. Heat for 10 minutes, then serve or store.
