Method
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Boil the cabbage until tender.
- Place the cabbage into cold water.
- Combine ground beef, onion, parsley, garlic, Italian seasoning, egg, salt, and pepper.
- Mix tomato sauce, sweetener, and garlic powder in a casserole dish.
- Separate cabbage leaves and cut a v shape in the bottom.
- Fill each leaf, fold, and form a pocket.
- Add filled leaves to the tomato sauce.
- Chop remaining cabbage and sprinkle around the rolls.
- Cover and bake for 60 minutes.
Notes
For a richer flavor, brown the ground beef before mixing it with the other filling ingredients.
