Method
- Brown ground beef in a pot, drain fat.
- Add butter, onion, and garlic; cook until softened.
- Pour in chicken broth and simmer.
- Add cream cheese and stir until melted.
- Pour in heavy cream, add salt, pepper, paprika, and mustard powder.
- Add cheddar cheese, stir until melted, simmer for 5 minutes.
Notes
For a thicker soup, add a small amount of xanthan gum.
