Ingredients
  

Meat
  • 1 lb Ground beef sausage preferably savory breakfast or mild Italian
Dairy
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese softened to room temperature
  • 8 Large Eggs
  • ½ cup Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1 packet Dry Ranch Seasoning 1 oz packet
Cheese
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese divided, sharp cheddar preferred
Bacon
  • 8 slices Turkey bacon cooked crispy and crumbled, divided
Vegetables
  • cup Green Onions thinly sliced, divided
  • to taste Salt & Black Pepper easy on the salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Cook sausage in a skillet until browned, then drain excess grease.
  3. Mix softened cream cheese, eggs, heavy cream, and ranch seasoning until smooth. Layer cooked sausage in dish, pour egg mixture over, then sprinkle 1 cup cheese and half bacon.
  4. Bake for 30-35 minutes until set and golden. Top with remaining cheese, bacon, and green onions. Rest 5-10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Use fresh green onions for best flavor. Adjust salt and pepper to taste.
