Kid Friendly Quesadillas

These simple quesadillas are perfect for a quick and easy kid-friendly meal. Customize with your favorite fillings!

Ingredients
  

Quesadilla
  • 2 Large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup Cooked chicken or turkey optional
  • 2 tablespoons Mild salsa optional
  • 2 tablespoons Sour cream or guacamole optional

Method
 

  1. Lay tortilla flat.
  2. Sprinkle cheese over half.
  3. Add chicken or turkey, if desired.
  4. Fold tortilla over cheese.
  5. Heat skillet over medium heat.
  6. Place quesadilla in skillet.
  7. Cook 2-3 minutes per side, until golden and cheese is melted.
  8. Remove and cool slightly.
  9. Cut into wedges and serve with salsa, sour cream, or guacamole, if desired.

Notes

Add a little butter to the skillet for extra golden-brown quesadillas.
