Method
- Lay tortilla flat.
- Sprinkle cheese over half.
- Add chicken or turkey, if desired.
- Fold tortilla over cheese.
- Heat skillet over medium heat.
- Place quesadilla in skillet.
- Cook 2-3 minutes per side, until golden and cheese is melted.
- Remove and cool slightly.
- Cut into wedges and serve with salsa, sour cream, or guacamole, if desired.
Notes
Add a little butter to the skillet for extra golden-brown quesadillas.
