Method
- Cook pasta according to package instructions, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet, season chicken with salt and pepper, and cook until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- Lower heat, add garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add chicken broth, lemon juice, and lemon zest, stirring to combine.
- Slice chicken into strips and add back to the skillet with cooked pasta. Toss, adding pasta water to coat evenly.
- Sprinkle Parmesan over pasta and stir until melted. Adjust seasoning if needed.
- Top with parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
Don't overcook the pasta; it should be slightly underdone as it will finish cooking in the sauce.
