  • 6 slices crispy turkey bacon
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 0.5 cup diced onions
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned.
  3. Drain excess grease, leaving a bit for flavor.
  4. Add diced onions and cook until they soften.
  5. Stir in diced tomatoes, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  6. Simmer the mixture for about 5 minutes.
  7. Transfer the filling into a greased casserole dish, spreading it evenly.
  8. In a bowl, whisk together heavy cream and eggs until well combined.
  9. Pour the cream mixture over the beef and onion filling.
  10. Sprinkle crumbled turkey bacon evenly across the top.
  11. Add shredded cheddar cheese generously over the casserole.
  12. Bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use a blend of cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese.
