  • 3 cups green cabbage shredded
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce or coconut aminos for low sodium
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • to taste Salt and black pepper
  • 2 green onions sliced (for garnish)
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds optional, for garnish

Method
 

  1. Cook ground beef in a skillet until browned.
  2. Drain fat, add onion, and sauté until translucent.
  3. Stir in garlic and ginger until fragrant.
  4. Add cabbage and cook until tender-crisp.
  5. Mix soy sauce, sesame oil, vinegar, and pepper flakes; pour over mixture and stir.
  6. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a splash of fish sauce or a dash of your favorite hot sauce.
