Ingredients
  

Meat
  • 1 lb breakfast sausage
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 4 cups frozen hash browns
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1 cup diced onions
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Cook sausage until browned, then layer hash browns in a greased dish.
  2. Spread cooked sausage, peppers, and onions over hash browns. Whisk eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Pour egg mixture over layers, top with cheese, cover, and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake 15-20 minutes until set.

Notes

This casserole can be assembled ahead and frozen for quick breakfasts.
