Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
Wet Ingredients
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil (or neutral oil)
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree not pumpkin pie filling
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Streusel Topping
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter cold, cubed
Maple Glaze
  • 2-3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon milk or cream

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your loaf pan.
  2. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl; whisk wet ingredients in another, then combine.
  3. Prepare streusel by mixing sugar, flour, cinnamon, salt, and butter until crumbly.
  4. Pour batter into pan, sprinkle streusel on top, and bake for 55-65 minutes.
  5. Cool bread, then whisk glaze ingredients and drizzle over cooled loaf before serving.

Notes

Ensure the toothpick comes out clean to avoid underbaking.
