Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix melted butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
- Combine dry ingredients and gradually add to wet mixture. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Drop dough onto baking sheet, spacing 2 inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Cool cookies on sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For softer cookies, bake for 10 minutes; for crunchier, bake a bit longer.
