Method
- If desired, spread softened butter on the outside of each slice of bread.
- Place Brie slices on one slice of bread.
- Arrange Mirabelle plum halves (or quarters) on top of the Brie.
- Drizzle with honey (if using).
- Sprinkle with fresh thyme leaves (if using).
- Top with the other slice of bread.
- If desired, toast the sandwich in a skillet or panini press until golden brown and the Brie is melted.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
For a richer flavor, use a high-quality Brie and ripe Mirabelle plums. Toasting the bread enhances the overall experience.
