Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch dish.
- Combine cranberries with 1/4 cup sugar; set aside.
- Cream butter, brown sugar, and remaining sugar until fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla; mix well.
- Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; add to wet mixture.
- Fold in cranberries and nuts, spread in dish, bake 30-35 mins.
Notes
Allow bars to cool before cutting and dust with powdered sugar if desired.
