  • 3 ripe bananas ripe bananas mashed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mix mashed bananas, sugar, oil, and eggs until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, then fold in walnuts.
  5. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a teaspoon of vanilla extract to the batter.
