Method
- Combine walnuts and almonds in a food processor and pulse until finely ground.
- Add dates, cocoa powder, chia seeds, hemp seeds, shredded coconut, almond butter, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and sea salt to the food processor.
- Process until the mixture is well combined and forms a sticky dough. Add water if too dry.
- Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Press the mixture firmly into the prepared pan, ensuring it's evenly distributed.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the bars to firm up.
- Remove the bars from the pan using the parchment paper and cut into desired size.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
Notes
For a richer flavor, toast the walnuts and almonds before processing.
