No-Boil Pasta Bake

Ingredients
  

Pasta and Sauces
  • 12 ounces uncooked pasta (penne or rigatoni)
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
Cheese Mixture
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Seasonings
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • to taste Salt and pepper
Garnish
  • optional Fresh basil for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix pasta, marinara, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Combine ricotta with half the mozzarella and Parmesan.
  4. Layer half of pasta mixture in a baking dish, add ricotta, then top with remaining pasta and cheeses.
  5. Cover with foil, bake 30 mins, then uncover and bake 15 mins until bubbly and golden. Garnish with basil if desired.

Notes

For a creamier texture, let the dish rest for a few minutes before serving.
