Ingredients
  

Dry ingredients
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/8 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/8 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
Wet ingredients
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg egg

Method
 

  1. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
  2. Whisk egg, milk, vanilla, and melted butter until combined.
  3. Pour wet mixture into dry ingredients and gently fold until smooth.
  4. Let batter rest for 10 minutes to thicken.
  5. Heat a greased pan and pour 1/4 cup batter for each pancake. Cook until golden, then flip and cook the other side.
  6. Serve hot with toppings of your choice.

Notes

For fluffier pancakes, do not overmix the batter.
