Ingredients
  

Pizza Base
  • 1 pre-made pizza crust
Sauce
  • 0.5 cup tomato sauce low-sodium
Cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Optional Toppings
  • beef pepperoni nitrate-free, cooked
  • cooked chicken cut into small pieces

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place pizza crust on a baking sheet.
  3. Spread tomato sauce evenly over the crust, leaving a small border.
  4. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  5. If desired, add preferred protein toppings evenly.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

Get creative with your toppings! Add veggies like bell peppers or mushrooms for extra nutrients.
